    New member checking in.

Hello friends, my name is Shane, I hail from the state of Maryland. I found this site when doing research on a revolver I was looking to buy. I'm a new pistolero waiting on my 44 special to ship. Looking forward to learning a lot from you guys.

    Anyways, nice to meetcha.

    Welcome.

There is a couple thousand years of experience here that most are happy to share.

Thank you! I'm a younger guy hoping to absorb as much info as possible.

I'll be reloading for my Ruger 44 special Bisley. And I'm hoping to put some venison in the fridge with it as well.

    Welcome Shane 87.
If this is your first firearm / pistol get some cleaning equipment also. A rod, brush, jag, patches solvent and oil. Be ready for when it comes. You'll want to clean it before shooting and after.

There will be plenty of pictures. And unfortunately I don't have a place to shoot it until the ranges open back up, but there will certainly be range reports when I do.

Not my first firearm, just my first sixgun, and the first gun I'll be reloading for. But thanks for the advice!

Welcome aboard! You will find lots of information here. But if you have questions just ask away. If you don't get an answer you'll get hint on where to find it if it has been answered before. There are no dumb questions here.

Howdy from Kentucky. Welcome to the CB.GL forum. A good choice for a first caliber to reload. Will you start with casting also or pick that up later?

Currently an apartment dweller, so no casting for me at the moment. I will be buying some of the range lead for sale by some of the members to stock up though. I definitely plan to cast at some point. Once I have some lead and the required equipment, I can go to some of my families home and cast a few moths worth at a time.

We won't hold it against you that you are from Maryland . Just kidding welcome to the forum. Everybody is new sometime. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Some of the people here are like me and older than dirt, but most of us have knowledge to share. BTW I am from South Texas.

I've been accused of being a whippersnapper. Only 36 here. I'm looking forward to when I switch over to being a codger.
