Varget has been available around here right along. I have been watching for VV 3n37 for a while and can't find that though.

Locally both are still available. When you find some SR-4759 or SR-4756, THEN you can post about "un-obtanium".

In MI Varget has been unobtainable since early last year- got my stock built back up by trading with a local guy but haven’t seen any on shelves nor for that matter online in a long time.
Varget and 4895 are very useful and a staple around here.

I probably have enough powder to reload for the rest of my shooting life, but it never stops me from buying anything that comes along at a decent price ...

I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!

    Retumbo is another.

My buddy has a fixation on it for some cartridge. Not sure which.

Varget is a myth in my area.
    Luckily, I don't use it.

It's pretty hard to come by around here. A friend drove to Montana and picked up 64 pounds. I personally don't use it but least now a few guys are set for a while.

I went through that with RL17 some time ago. I picked some up because it was showing a lot of promise in 22-250 and some other "overbore" cartridges that I load for. Anywho, I got a load worked up for 3 different cartridges so I went to pick up several pounds to keep around. Took me 3 years to find any. I finally found some in a shop 400 miles away that was from the same lot as the first pound I got locally. I used it very sparingly until last July. My son was born in August and for some reason I found myself at the reloading bench a lot. I loaded somewhere around 5k rounds in 3 weeks on a single stage, most of it rifle... I walked into the LGS about a month ago and they had 9 pounds on the shelf. Operative word here being "had"...

Okay..........I have a full small keg of one of them, just don't remember which. I DO remember getting a load for my Yugo SKS using that powder, and of course I had the wrong one.........which I did NOT discover until I almost blew the poor gun up with an overload. I'll never understand why they made the designations so close on those. My fault of course for not verifying the data, but that can sits on the shelf until I find a use for it!

I have 12-13 pounds of SR4759. It's the main reason I bought an RCBS ChargeMaster! Lol!

My club has a stash of not only Varget, but 3N37 in singles and 4's, most Vitt Powders including a new stock of N320.. AR Comp, Small pistol primers (though starting to run low), and we even have a steel can of SR 4756, Win 540 (sealed 8# can), H1000 and a few other that are otherwise sold out.
