Bullet friendly, case friendly? Again I make datums, a datum that is case friendly makes the tool a comparator; like Hornady/Sinclair.

And then there is neck tension, I started out before tensioners got started; when I started there was bullet hold. If I want to imprint the nose of the bullet with the seater plug I use a lot of bullet hold. When it comes to bullet hold I like 45 pounds.

A few months ago I exceeded the ability of all my bullet pullers to pull bullets, the only way I could remove the bullets was to render them scrap. WHY! I needed those cases in the worst way, I agreed to load ammo; problem, they failed to bring their fired cases.

Custom fit the punch to the boolit nose with a small ball of epoxy putty .
Epoxy putty stays put and doesn't run into places you don't want it .
Degrease the metal punch and grease the boolit nose (release agent...wax or petroleum jelly work)
Insert small ball of epoxy putty into nose punch , get everything lined up and slowly seat bullet , stop and let epoxy cure with punch pressing down on boolit w/ weight of handle .
After epoxy cures , remove any excess and you have a custom fitted punch for that boolit .
