Recently acquired an older Lyman 311332 a few weeks ago. I cast up a decent pile of boolits and squeezed some NRA 50/50 into the grooves with a Sage's gas check. Loaded them over mildly increasing charge weights of 5744. Most groups were very similar to these so I know it's repeatable. I just liked the chrono numbers on these loads.
Lyman 311332
Sized .311, Sage's Copper Gas Check, NRA 50/50, Lyman No.2 Hybrid Alloy
21.4gr of Accurate 5744
PPU Brass
CCI LR
2.780" COAL.
Velocity was 1720ish for both, with a spread of 18-20 for both. Both groups were shot at 100 yards. I've always shot a Ranch Dog TLC311-165-RF out of both of these rifles, but I think I know what I will continue to shoot now.
