Stevens .22

Last fall I purchased a Stevens .22 and today I finally got around to shooting it. Wow, what a surprise! First, it is an accurate little rifle. I didn't expect it to be horrible but I also did not expect it to shoot as well as it did. Second, that trigger was amazing! There was zero creep or any other movement and what a light pull! That first shot went off and boy was I surprised! I was applying very light pressure to take up any slack, which there wasn't any, and it went bang! I just wanted to say that for a somewhat beat, it shows its age, rifle, it really performs. Absolutely the best gun I have ever purchased for under $100.

I have a Stevens crack shot from 1913. It is very accurate. I just got a cricket i need to learn how to use the peep sights.

I have enjoyed various versions of the Model 15 for decades here, great training rifle and a threaded one with a can is pretty cool also.

My first .22 was my Grandpa’s Stevens Buckhorn 66. It also has a light trigger and gives good accuracy, but your eyes better be good to see the minuscule notch in the rear sight.

If it's a Favorite, you just listed the reasons they sold a zillion of 'em. Excellent triggers and accurate barrels.
