    Bump up swage die .224 - .227

Would this be available commercially for a rock chucker press. I would like to bump up 40-50 gr varmint bullets for a 22 Savage High Power.

You might ask BTSniper about making you one.

    Hope this helps.

It might be pretty shocking how quickly he could get one out.

Ammohead, the Savage Hi Power uses a 70 gr bullet. I make them. PM me if you are interested.

70 gr won't stabilize worth beans in a 1 in 14" twist. I have plenty of those. I want a 45 or 50 gr varmint style for plinking and ground squirrels ala Ken Waters and John Barsness articles I have read. Not a must have but something I might try knocking out on the lathe. I made a swage die for paper patching my 38-55 years ago so it can be done.

I have some 45gr bullets. I'll give them a squeeze and see what happens. I'll get back to you.
