Something that looks like a Gerber dagger

    Howdy folks,

few weeks ago I found this Gerber dagger clone at the flea market.
    Does anyone knows the maker?
No particular marking, just "440 Stainless"
    Thanks in advance!

Interesting, the sheath looks very well made so that sort of rules out Pakistan.

The Gerber MkII's sell for more used than they do new, and especially so if they may have seen RVN service.

There were some made in the Philippines that were unmarked and of good quality. Does that mean my Gerber that made a few trips with me is worth more even if I can not tell you where we went.

Sure looks like a Gerber. Is the blade completely straight, or bent and curved a little bit?

It's possible gerber made some without markings for clandestine operations.

Not a Gerber, quillion is shaped wrong. It looks like a copy made for Compass Ind. Co in the 80's, if I recall correctly they were marketed under the name "Texas Wildcat II". But then there are several clones of the Gerber MKII roaming around.
An old Cherokee was teaching his grandson about life. "Inside me two wolves fight," he told the boy.
"One is evil - he is anger, envy, greed, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, lies, false pride, and ego. The other is good - he is joy, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, generosity, truth and faith. The same fight is inside you - and every other person, too."
The grandson thought for a minute and asked,"Which wolf will win?"
The old Cherokee replied, "The one you feed."
