    Any friends from Australia?????

With the china flu going on, we don't hear about other things going on around the world.
The fires in Australia were a major problem.
But I don't see anything on the news about it.
Did they finally get it under control????

Greetings to all our buddies in the US. Fires are out, and we will always be greatfull to the help we got from afar, New Zealand, USA and Canada!

Covid-19 has not affected us much apart from closed gunshops and firing ranges. A ban on the sale of ammunition to all except farmers. The clowns in gubbermint have absolutely no idea that folks like me have 100+ boolit moulds, 78 sets of loading dies, thousands of brass cases, primers and powder. To pass the time I've been casting boolits and almost have a lifetime supply in all calibres from 22 to 58.

Prayers every day that the good Lord will keep you safe from harm.

Sounds to me you need to do more shootin!
Or your boolits might go stale. Why risk it?

Up here is a tourist hotspot so there are a lot of businesses that are crushed. The area has a high indigenous population so is considered high risk so no one in or out.
The rains put out fires down south but most farmers there lost so much stock with the fires and the drought in the lead up that most have barely got breeding stock. Certainly nothing to actually send to Market.

Very glad to hear the fires are out. It was frightening to see the satellite photos of how massive the fires were. Very sad the amount of folks who lost their homes and businesses.

The anti's are a heartless bunch. They seem to welcome tragedy's as a means to take our firearms.

Our gomet has rationalized warm weather will nock down the virus here and it will return in the fall.
Wait, I'm thinking it's summer in Australia now and they have the virus

Pelosi is trying to sneak gun control in the latest "stimulus/aid" bill now, as I type this
Sorry to hear about the shops closed by your gomet, it's been done a few places here too, by governors.

Size/Prime a few cases when starting off with a progressive and put them aside. You can plug them back into the process when a bad/odd case screws up in the priming station and continue loading.

BAW: The liberals here in the US are riding this virus for all it's worth. Adding all sorts of special interest riders on to aid packages. Like you, I cast and load for every caliber I own except for 22LR That one just seems like way more trouble than it's worth when the 22cal. centerfires can so easily be down loaded. I could use a few thousand more primers but my brass, powder and lead will more than carry me on out. Those in the U.S. that think supplies will always be just a click of the computer key away better get out and vote against the liberals or we won't be any better off here than you all from the land of OZ. Gp

They use any excuse: the ammunition ban was to curb domestic violence (caused by isolation with your wife??) and they assume everyone buys factory ammunition from a gunshop (LOL). I'm fortunate to live on a small farm where I have built a small 200yard shooting range within walking distance of my shed.

A shooting session 3 or 4 times a week gives me an excuse to cast more boolits!

Opportunistic Pols during this Coronavirus outbreak have tried cute tricks here with gun rights and even other unrelated things. One the Governor of Minnesota banned the sale of garden seeds. ....... garden seeds!

She said you could go kayaking but not motor boating.

My State’s Governor Insley ain’t a lot brighter, maybe 5 watts or so.

Both State capitols had big protests this week end!

It would seem you Guys in the States are suffering the same Government stupidity we are. All gun clubs and ranges have been closed and with bans on unnecessary travel one can't go hunting, although I believe I know of a loop hole. I have been telling friends and family be wary of new laws and restrictions we are told we need, I doubt very much that when these restrictions were written into law they were restricted to the duration of virus. Stopping the purchase of firearms and ammunition had nothing to do with the virus, now we have some untrustworthy telecommunications giants. wanting those who are infected to give them their medical details so they can save us all by pinging your mobile when your near an infected person, sounds good in theory but these are the same clowns who pass your details to the scam call centres, I for one will cancel my mobiles before I will submit to this. Every day we hear of people being caught multiple time for breaching isolation and a fine is issued. The average person can not be trusted to self isolate so they should be held under guard. I guess it is fare to say I am a little peeved by the stupidity of so many. Regards To all and stay safe Stephen
