JonP, it’s a very nice thing you’re doing! I’m good on lead, but thanks for doing this.

My vote goes to Milsurp Junkie, teach him how to stretch out his supply of WW's [hopefully] older COWW's. I use 1/3 soft lead to 2/3rds WW & 4 ozs of pewter scrap per ten pound's. That blend makes a really nice bullet. uncle mike in ct

As a member of the "lifetime supply" club I'm sure that I don't qualify! But this is a really nice thing you are doing, My Friend! And Prayers and best wishes offered for those who are struggling.

I have nothing but harder alloys right now. I have COWW, Lino, and a small amount of range lead which consists of 90% 22 rimfire bullets from an indoor range. I have nothing to soften my alloys with. I could use the Isotope lead...but I'd rather see it go to someone that is just starting out.

But....thanx for offering it up to the needy.

I could use it. I havent started casting yet, and Im still in the stages of researching and collecting supplies. I have an old coleman stove Im planning to use with a cast iron pot. I actually just ordered my first mold last week (.678 round ball mold).

The plan is to mainly cast round balls and slugs for shotgun. Once I get the hang of that I will start casting to feed the .50 beowulf.

I would love to have it because after 11 years lurking here, I finally cast my first bullets about 3 weeks ago. I scrounged around town but I only came up with maybe 20 pounds of lead. Even one small flat rate box would be helpful to my cause until the world reopens again, not necessarily because I "need" bullets, but more because casting them has been keeping me sane.

Nobody's going to be made or broken over a single box of lead, but I'll turn it into something fun.

No whining, but a friend & I are in process of teaching ourselves to squeeze JWords for several diameters. I am OK for now with alloy for normal casting. However we have limited supply of pure PB for our learning curve. Besides I always liked cornbread or Pone just can't butter this kind up like I like. If there is enough I'd appreciate a package.

Isocore lead is not soft stuff, more like old good WW. My stash is getting low but still at my age a 'life time' supply. Plus I found a couple boxes of jacketed stuff in the cabinet for 'emergency' use.
    Whatever!

    Ok, I'm closing this down.

One box of 15 Corncobs weighing just over 15 lbs has been sent out. I hope the winner enjoys the lead and I may do this again. Thanks everyone.

I am simple peasant, and I've never won anything in my life.
This would be a wonderful thing to win, and I'd treasure it.

Also I'd do anything for humanity:
I would keep it until its the last bit of Lead on Earth.
Then trade it for a hospital in the Bahamas to cure the sick and lame who have no hope.

It looks like I will have some corncob ingots inbound that I can look at while I wait for my mold to arrive (estimated delivery for my mold is June 1st). Once I get some casting done I will post up my results from my first try.

Thank you again for doing this. The forum is truly full of helpful people and info.

When I get home tonight Im going to dig around the reloading room for a few things Im not using and post them up to pay it forward with something that could be useful to someone else.
