    Johnson’s Liquid wax Value

I have 3-4 cans of Johnson liquid wax from my 45/45/10 days I’m going to be selling it here. But I don’t know what it sells for. Any ideas?

    Thanks

Amazon has it for 60$ + shipping.
    New & Used (19) from $59.99 + $5.49 Shipping

80 to 95$ got you free shipping.

If it was me, I think I would put them up at auction for a week. Sell them one at a time. Then if you really wanted to be nice you would pass some of that on for site upkeep/maintenance. 10% maybe.

That would let those who want it worst get it if they are willing to pay for it. Plus you would be doing a good turn for the Cast Boolits site.

    But its your call.

Geez. Nobody was buying Johnson's One Step up here in Alaska..... I ended up with 48 cans.... Crazy.

As there is an excellent alternative, only a fool would pay big bucks for old Johnson wax !

Lundmark Liquid Paste Wax with Carnauba Wax, 32-Ounce, 3208F32-6 on Amazon.

I've used it to make the lube described on this site.

"The formula or mix that I've settled on is a 45/45/10 mixture of Johnson's Paste Wax (JPW), Lee Liquid Alox (LLA) and odorless mineral spirits (MS). All three ingredients are readily available and inexpensive."

Just sub it for the Johnson.

As an additional step, I tumble in white case neck lube powder to get rid of sticky feel.

I agree, mine was just a general comment to keep anyone from having a problem with the rules.

Be sure to investigate what it takes to ship a flammable liquid before you offer them for sale to people who aren't willing to pick them up in a FTF deal.

the paste wax and the liquid wax are not the same thing, each is used in its own lube recipe but the liquid is now discontinued.

The product on Amazon is the same as the Johnson liquid and works perfectly. Loaded 300+ NOE 10mm plain base with "load to function" of Unique in my Grand 10 mm. Very accurate, no leading.
