I only ate nutria once. One of the secretaries in the office brought in some nutria stew. It was quite good. Several years ago I was given 2 lambs. I fed them out for a couple of months before having them processed. Their names were lunch and dinner.

Nutria used to (and probably still do) infest the Willamette River valley in Oregon. When in college I hunted them for a few farmers who would then give me permission to hunt their woodlots for deer in the fall. One family of nutria will lay waste to half an acre of corn or beans.
