    New Winchester ‘73

Picked up a a new ‘73, Miroku. The wood is very nice and they didn’t add that dang tang safety. Going to work up some loads smokeless and black powder. Should be a hoot to shoot!

Very nice! I want one! I’ve really enjoyed the Miroku stuff I have and had. Let us know how it shoots with pics please.

Randy, what is the rear sight you have there?

I've got the Marble Arms on mine and while it's functional and accurate the lack of any scales makes adjusting the sights for different ranges pure guess work.

Miroku makes quality stuff, but something about the gun that won the west being stamped "Made In Japan" doesn't seem quite right.

That is s beautiful gun. Jimmy Stewart would've been proud.

Let's not forget that "The Magnificent Seven" was a remake of a yarn about Seven Samurai.

And also don’t forget that ‘Last Man Standing’, a gangster film with Bruce Willis was a remake of ‘Fistful of Dollars’, a spaghetti western with Clint Eastwood which was based on the Japanese samurai film ‘Yojimbo’ with Toshiro Mifune. All classics imo.
