    Awesome find. Talk about unicorn teeth. I love the .300 H@H cartridge also.

    Easy enough to find a 7x57 and rechamber/modify bolt face, but not sure prize is worth the quest.
    Already have a 7x61 S&H which is the 2nd coolest commercial 7mm Mag.

    I have looked at that cartridge for years and lusted after a rifle chambered for it! The original H&H are way out of my reach! I have seen reference to Winchester chambering either model 70's or 54's in it, but have never seen one for sale. I have a sporterized eddystone that may have to be a donor now!!

    Budget build, find a used Savage 7mm/300 Mag, buy a Shaw bbl in 7x57, rent a reamer and have at it.
