    Very cool. I've never been a fan of clams but have only had canned ones. Every thing fresh is better, we just dont have that opportunity.

    So white how are thing in Maine is that near Mount Desert Island ? How build up are thing area that area? My wife were up that way 20 years ago .

    We are a bit farther down the coast from MDI, live on a small island about 12 miles off the coast of Rockland. Have a year round population of 350 people, school has 55 or so kids kindergarten through highschool.
