I’m jealous of how perfect those are. They look like they were sprayed.

I wish I could get them that good every time. Tumbling in the cold try winter months works the best for me. I played with my oven temps as well to get an even coat. Smoke’s clear is my goto now.

To be Aggie Maroon it needs to be a little darker. Still a good looking color. When the corono stupidity ends and I get money coming in again I think I'll have to buy some.

I will also confirm it is more of a maroon color, does seem about right for Longhorn fans. It covered, maybe the best of, any color I have used (only use Smoke's powder now), really nice. Shot some (30 rds) 38 Specials with Lyman 358091 wadcutters over 3.2 grains of Titegroup, clean as a whistle and as accurate as I can shoot. Dry tumble, use black BBs (from Walmart) in containers from Dollar General. These containers are clear, a round dish shape, have a gasket, 4 tabs to lock them closed. "Swirl" them like crazy for 20 seconds or so, "flip" (no need to shake, that will only break your container) then a little swirl a few more seconds and you should be able to see that thay are covered or open and take a peek. The first batch in a new container and new BBs will take a little more swirling. Only use "enough" powder, start with a teaspoon or so (more important with HPs to not over-load the powder). I use a different container for each color ($1 each at DG), they seem to seal well. I do use a large HF tweazer to pick-and palce onto NS tin foil, bake 375-400 for 20-25 mins in a pre-heated counter-top convection oven. Work great for me, easy!
Take a kid to the range, you'll both be glad you did.

Now keep in mind on this pic I intentionally made a crinkle finish. Wash with acetone and spray before acetone totally drys. When you heat the powder the acetone outgasses causing bubbles/wrinkles.

Yeah. It'll be interesting to see who uses it, and puts in on upside down or backwards.
