Wtb - small amount of 45 gas checks

Any chance anyone would part with a small amount? I don't need a whole box of 1000 and even half of that would be more than I'd need. So anyone have just a couple hundred laying around? Or anyone have a gas check maker they would rent me for a week?

    Hi,
Would that be .45 Rifle or pistol? If rifle, I can help you out.

I didn't know there was a difference. I would assume rifle but planning to size to 452 and powder coat after gc. I have a Lee 454-300 mold and I'm planning to use it for 454, 460 s&w, and 450 bushmaster.

I guess I was under the impression that they would work for either pistol or rifle.

    Hi,
Yep, there's a difference. Have a look here at Sage's Outdoors (where I normally buy mine.) The GC shank for both sizes is normally about 0.424-0.427", but I believe the difference is in the thickness of the check material. I have the Gator GC in .458. I can mail you a few just to try and see if they work. They might be a little harder to size, but I don't think they would deform. If you're interested, PM me your address.

Are you looking for a check to go on plain base bullets or bullets made for gas checks? Wallace

Don't know about cu or al. Don't know really anything about gas checks. I'm assuming 452 and 458 would use different checks then?

Using these on a Lee 454gc bullet. Planning on 1400-2000fps used in 454 casull, 460s&w magnum, and 450 bushmaster.
