    Question Lyman 429640av Boolit Weight?

    I found a 429640AV gas check mould in my stash. l looked it up on the net.. Can't find boolit weight. Tis NOT the 250gr HP mould.. Anyone have info??

    Are you sure it’s not the 429650 av? Which is a 300 grain semi wad cutter

    I looked in every old reference book I have and couldn't come up with anything on 429640AV.
    Does it look like the 429640 GC HP but with the gas check and without the hollow point ?
    Like a solid point version of the 429640 ?
    It might be the fore runner of 429650 GC solid point .
    Post some photo's of it .

    It says ''4 2 9 6 4 0 A V''... Also its a gas check 2 cavity mould and NOT a hollow point. I am not computer literate... PM me an email or cel l will send a pix

    With coww 280-290 gr. It's the cherry for the 44 devistater hp.

    I have a version of that mold in a custom mold. It weighs around 290 with 50/50. It is by far the most accurate bullet in my 44mag.
