    Winchester barrel folding sight?

I have an 1886 with a tang sight and I was wondering if anyone knows a good source for a nice period correct folding sight? Possibly or something like a lyman #6? I looked on ebay but there isnt much. Some modern sights are available for a good price but I dont like the look of them honestly.

For now I was using a blank instead of the rear sight, but I like having both options available so I put the standard flip up ladder sight the rifle came with.

    .

I have exerted my google-fu on your behalf, and have found several antique folding rear barrel sights for sale by googling:

"antique folding rear sight for sale".

    This example, for one - a Marbles 69W - is $15.

A number of years a go, I was looking for a Lyman #6 rear folding sight for my 86'.
But, I could never find one that was in decent enough shape to warrant the cost.

Installing a newer Lyman #17 worked just as well and a heck of a lot cheaper.

Here's what I did. I got a Marbles(?) sight on a marlin .44 mag. I took it off it for now and slapped it on the winchester. Looks too new for the rifle I find. It works nice, and folds just right. It will do for now, Il order a proper lyman sight soon enough.
