Home Depot shows them. Around 19.00 for the tap.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.
Travers Tool Co. is a good industrial supplier. They provide excellent service. I used to order hundreds of $$$ of stuff every month from them when I worked for a machine shop. Retired now.
A good spiral point industrial tap is far better than the hardware store stuff, and no more expensive.

What is your purpose or use? based on sizes, are you trying to thread some muzzles? Reason I ask is that gunsmiths single point thread muzzles concentric to the bore for a reason (and also thread to class 3 specs). If you already know all this, my apologies. I'd hate to see someone screw up a muzzle device if the catastrophe could be avoided.

Wow! thanks for all the choices. I want them on hand to clean up threads. I bought a rifle that the 1/2" threads are a mess.
https://www.victornet.com/ Decent prices and reasonable shipping costs. I've been happy with the products from Victor. They also carry cutting tools and accessories for machine tools.

Granger Supply is good source for taps & dies. HWD store taps & dies are not usually best quality.
For the dies, get a split die which are adjustable and can be opened up just to chase the barrel threads that are already there. Otherwise a solid die will likely cut threads on the smaller side. I try to use good quality USA made ones, but toolmex brand has dies from Poland that I've been happy with.
I'll 2nd what DMR50 said, the taps/dies at homedepot/menards/lowes aren't the same quality as you'd get from an industrial supply place.
