    WTS: shooting, reloading, and casting

I am combining my old topics, I hope that this is allowed. I will be deleting those old posts.

I prefer paypal, but will accept a money order.

This is a custom 12 gauge shotgun slug mold. This is the Accurate 73-943CN. It is a single cavity, brass mold. I had it hollow base converted by Erik at Hollowpoint molds. This is not a cheap conversion. The slug currently casts about 765 grains if I remember right, and .735" diameter. $125 shipped.

Mossberg 590 9 shot magazine for conversion. This is the magazine tube, spring, and end cap for a 12 gauge, 9 shot Mossberg 590. This will thread onto any Mossberg pump action 500, 590 7 shot, 835, etc. This will work with both standard 9 shot and A1 9 shot barrels. I will also include a barrel heat shield. I do not have a barrel to sell. Condition is brand new, unused. $45 shipped.

I have a perfect condition cantilever rifled slug barrel for a Benelli Nova or Supernova. The barrel was made by Ithaca, and is chambered for 12 gauge 3" or shorter. I believe it is a 1:28" twist. These are impossible to find, and have not been made in quite some time. The one and only problem I've ever had is that some of the shell is exposed for the extractor. This caused some extraction problems on soft hulls like Fiocchi, but most were fine. I don't remember any problems with factory ammo. As odd as it sounds, one of the best shooting rounds I've found in this barrel was the Remington 3" 1 ounce Slugger. Mounted to it is a cheap Konus 1.5-5x scope. The scope is nothing spectacular, but works surprisingly well for what I paid for it. It has handled hundreds of rounds this far without an issue. I have not shot this barrel for years, and I think it is time to go to a better home. I would like $300 shipped

I don't know how we ever shot maximum loads before P/C come along and saved us all. R5R
