    Good week for 22 ammo

Picked up 100 CCI 40 grain lead hp's(only allowed 1 box).

Moved on to the next gunshop, a brick of Aguila 40 grn lead and 500 of CCI standard velocity.

    (Plus a 1000 Remington 6 1/2 small rifle.)

Today while waiting for my daughter at the eye surgeon, I snuck off to a local gunshop I had not been in at least 2 months. They had RWS Target rifle 22 lr. Walked out with 4 bricks, 2 for me and 2 for a buddy who just bought a S&W 41 that NEEDS lead standard velocity. Guy had about 15 bricks said I could have all I wanted.

Probably should have bought another brick or two. Have enough blasting 22, could use some more SV for the Kimber and the Model 52.

    Nice pull!

Win 52, Perfection in Design. I’ve never found a 22 my 52s haven’t liked ( Pre-A, B, D, Sporter) but the Eleys have also worked well for me if you ever come across those.

Got bunches of the copper plated blasting 22's have actually walked by some recently.

The Kimber and the 52 get only lead SV, that is getting to be in the unobtainium range.

As was stated above, time to make sure you have plenty, our governor bragged just the other day about putting 6500 gun shop employees out of work with her executive orders during the shutdown. The brag had nothing to do with saving lives and everything to do to with burnishing her credentials for the VP nomination.

And she is on the short list for VP.

I certainly didn't go wrong to flee Michigan when I retired.!!!!

I've still got "commodity" ammo left from the Clinton Administration. What I've been unable to find is CCI Quiet. Finally paid scalpers' prices for a few boxes on the Innernet. Nothing else does the job for me on porch pests; (raccoons & opossums trying to get in via the cat-door to raid the cats' kibble feeder). Won't be plinking with it, that's for sure.

Hope your right on the Eley's just came up with more than I'd admit to on a public forum of Eley SV.

25% is already spoken for to a buddy, next 10% I suspect is going to be snagged by another buddy. Hope they keep it quiet, I'll have the mooches at my door in a heartbeat.

Pretty sure I have a lifetime's supply, plus some to help out a friend in need if it comes to that.

Plus 3 bricks of Remington small pistol. Probably set on those also.

Just hope the shop doesn't burn down.

It'll really annoy the local VFD.
