    .284 price and options

Here is a cost break down of both what I deem necessary and what additional upgrades I have to offer to make 7mm cal bullets from various jacket materials using my dies.

    BACK AGAIN!

    COMPLETE PACKAGE OFFERS

SAVE MONEY VS. BUYING EACH PIECE SEPARATE

First of all I recommend using a Lee Classic Cast press with my BTSniper premium dies. I offer an improved version of the Lee Classic Cast press that I have modified specifically to handle the pressures of swaging. This press has modified linkages that produce over twice the leverage of the stock press and comes with a new threaded ram and auto eject set up.

Should the customer already have the Lee Classic Cast press all that is needed is my auto eject set up and the press will be good to go for use with my dies.

BTSniper Premium 7mm Swage Die Kit

5.7x28 draw die and base punch not shown in pic

For customer that already has the Lee press this kit includes everything listed below plus samples of each step of the process, 1/2oz. swage lube, instructions and excellent customer support.

    $699.00 point form die
    $499.00 core seat die
    $549.00 core bleed die
    $207.00 three threaded base punches
    $249.00 eleven cavity core mold
$249.00 Auto eject for either Lee Classic of press with 1" ram

    $2450.00 regular full price

    $2205.00 PACKAGE PRICE

Additional addons or upgrades. Add costs shown below to above package offered price.

    BTSniper Improved Lee Swage Press

    $199 add on

    Traditional 9 degree Boat tail

$349.00 Boat tail base punch for point form die
$50.00 upgrade to Boat tail core seat die

    $399.00 add on

    5.7x28 for .284 cal jackets

30 cal bullet shown above, I have made excellent 6.5mm bullets from scrap 5.7 brass because I was able to use the power of a hydraulic press but I feel the 5.7 brass would make an even better 7mm jacket able to be drawn down and swaged in my Lee Swage press. An even better option would be to use the new 17WSM rim fire brass. This brass is already very close to the 7mm diameter needed to make perfect bullet with.

$199.00 neck expander for 5.7 brass
$450.00 draw die to go from .316-.281 with the 5.7 brass
$69.00 draw die push threw base punch

    $718.00 add on

Draw down available 30 cal jackets for 7mm jackets....

This would be a great option and very easy.

    $225.00 draw die
    $69.00 push threw base punch

    $294.00

    Standard reloading press options

    Shell holder style base punch

    $89.00 ea.

*same price as listed above for boat tail options

Auto Eject System for press with 1" ram

    $249.00

These are the numbers, price and tooling required to form 7mm cal bullets from various jacket materials.

Feel free to contact me for additional details. Let me know your email address and I'll be happy to send copy of instruction manuals for potential customers to look over.

    Good shooting and swage on!

Of all the calibers I listed in my updated vendor page here this one has seen the most views in the last week or so.

I already have a set of dies in stock and a reamer for the 7mm. It is a standard 7s ogive profile. I do get a few inquires requesting a high BC bullet like the SMK or Berger Hybrid. I may just have to look into it a bit.

Those of you interested please fee free to leave questions in this thread or any of my caliber threads.

    Swage on!

Number of views of this 7mm caliber have doubled since I last replied.....

I am looking to have a custom reamer made to allow us to make high BC 180 grain bullets along the lines of the Sierra MK and Berger hybrid.

All of you that are checking out this thread let me know if it hunting bullets or long range match bullets you seek to make.
