WTB: Looking for project rifles : smle, m95

Evening: looking for some project rifles, I'm talking rusty, and bad barrels, etc......want to turn a smle into 45 amp and a styer m 95 into a 44 x 1.6 , kinda a 1894 marlin, mosin, marlin 1893, 336, mauser 98, and 95/96 guy too....always 4 or five ideas floating around as y'all can probably tell from my post......like to turn a 336 in to 1.6 x 44 but my last donor rifle cleaned up too nice.....not trying to rob anyone , just think auction websites are crazy for actions sitting for several hundred dollars when entire rifles aren't selling for same price

I've had a few want to buy a #4MKI* or MKII on a couple boards for a project involving a cartridge based on the 303 British. It's called the 37 rimmed and basically the 303 British case necked up to 375 with no other changes. So basically all it would involve is a new barrel, chamber reamer and someone to put the barell in a lathe, thread it, cut the extractor recess, chamber it and install the barrel, bead blast and blue it. And there should be enough meat in a #4 forend to inlet the barrel. Sadly no one has come forward with either mark of rifle that I could use. Not looking for a shooter, just one with a trashed barrel or something like that. Already have a semi turned barrel with a 1x12 twist so that should handle up to a 300 grain cast bullet. Frank

I have some ole Mauser barrel with threads on the end. No bolt but barrel and receiver heavy! Kinda rusted. I'll see if I can find some inscriptions on it.

Been tinkerin' with a M95 6.5x53R forever. Business and life keeps interfering with fun. So any how, I have a Green Mountain 6.5 barrel blank (19" long) and molds that now I'm probably never going to use. Gimme a yell if you want either or all.

Hey, I have a m 38 Carcano that has been shortened and has a rough bore that I may be able to let go. It is the 6.5 carcano and is all there. I have not shot it. PM for details.

I've got an old Berthier Lebel rifle. It's been "sporterized" by someone along the way. I'll try to remember and get some pictures.
