One could do a life time with a 44 special and never be undergunned for pest removal plinking hunting most critters and removal of 2 and 4 legged varmints. Nice looking hog leg hope it gives you you years of service

I've been looking at those for a while, do you have any idea how the size of the grip frame compares to a Ruger Blackhawk? The frame on my Blackhawk .357 is just a wee bit too small for my liking.

    Absolutely

I have the Uberti Cattleman in .45 Colt with the 7 1/2" barrel, and also the Uberti/Cimmaron .45 Colt with the 5 1/2" barrel. I NEED the 4 3/4" barrel to complete my collection. Both guns are great shooters, but did require a little tweaking.

They are available in two grip sizes. You can go on Taylor’s website and see whether either fits your needs... the longer one is called the “Gunfighter Grip” IIRC. I think that would be the closest to your Ruger, but I’ve never measured them to know for sure.

Like above said , the Taylor gunfighter has the 1860 longer grip and Uberti Grizzley paw with the 1860 grip frame only in 45 colt....In .44 special you will have to buy a 1860 grip frame separate and install it

My 4 3/4" Uberti .44 Special is probably my favorite revolver and has taken more game than any of my others.

Here's a brand new 4 3/4" Cimarron .44 Special at a screaming good deal, can't believe no one's bought it yet.

Where have I seen those white/star grips before on a new gun?

One of the Sheriff model uberti/cimarrons in their catalog?
