Have him contact Bernie at Old West Molds. My mold is a heeled, hollow based single cavity. Not interested in casting 500 of them!

Be aware that Lyman’s classic 386177 heel bullet when put on today’s 1.12 case length cases are too long for both the colt DA 41 and army special. The cases need to be trimmed lightly.

Can you use available .41Mag molds and reduce the back ends with a .386" diameter H&I sizer?
Will the Lee 195 grain SWC work?

Hey, by the way, why not use a hollow base in the reduced diameter tail end the same as everybody does for .22 rim fire?
.41 LC is loaded with either rebated bases or with hollow bases. But putting the two together has been shown to work.

You know, I shouldn't be making your ad a discussion. Apologies.
If I had the heal mold I'd make you some. All I have is the hollow base.

I have a SC Herters 41196 which casts a 196 grain heeled boolit. The sprue plate needs to be continually tightened so it needs to be drilled and tapped for a set screw.
