    H335

Any one use H335 in .30 cal rifles with boolits? I have some pulldown surplus powder that says use H335 data and thought about giving it a try in .30-30 or .30-06.

Have you ever looked at the Hodgdon load data web site? Look it up and play with it. If you go to the rifle cartridges and at #1 put in 30/30, then at the powder, #4 (I think) put in H335, then go back to #1 and click on it, it will show you all the cartridges you can use H335 in. Hodgdon has a great tool here for the H, IMR and Win powders.

    If it's wc844 yes use h-335 data. works great in .308 with 150gr j words. and also .223 with 50gr V-max

I have used a lot of the WC844 and WC846 over the years. Used them in both .223(55g) and .308(165g). The H335 I have never tried but they always wrote to use the H335 data for the WC844. I have used it on my jacketed swaged bullets as well.

Mine doesn't. Modern Reloading 2nd edition, printed 2016.

Pages 140-155 have general reloading instructions.

.30-30 is on page 508, it shows some data for generic lead on page 510, for 160 and 170gr .
    No 3031 data for lead.
