Got a Lee hardness test kit.

I thought it was time to graduate from my thumbnail hardness tester,
The Lee tool arrived yesterday so figured out a way to set it up and test a few bullets to see how to work it. Still experimenting with a setup that will be easy to use.
This is how I have it for now.
I have a layer or 2 of scotch tape on the scope and a little clothespin on the scope to keep it from falling through the rcbs 45 colt sizer die and mounted in a turret for the LCT , so far I have just checked flat point bullets on the nose and am standing them up on one of the pass through shell holders from the app so I can turn the holder and slide the bullet to position under the scope.
This may evolve but seems to be working.

I also have the Lee hardness tester, and it does give at least a general idea of the BHN, but the kit should have been furnished with some means of holding the scope securely. I think you may have a good idea there.

I can move the bullet any direction to line the scale with the dimple.
The shell holder will turn and is open on two sides. So pretty easy to move the bullet , and the v block would work the same way if I do any round nose and use the side of the bullet. I only have two round nose molds.

I just put a nickel on top of the shell holder to create a flat base.
