    Missing seating die

Strange things are afoot. I decide today to start loading for my m1, which I haven’t done in 20 years or so. I was going through my stuff and I have several lbs of IMR4895 and some 4064, a lot of Sierra and Hornady 168 BTHP match and a lot of Unused Winchester brass and when I pulled hour my RCBS die box I found that only the sizing die was in there. I only keep my dies in the garage and only load in there and have never lent it to anyone so I can’t imagine how it got lost unless alien burglars from Mars took it. I might have to get a new set. BAH!

In a press you don't normally use or have stored-away?
Take a kid to the range, you'll both be glad you did.

Did you store them anywhere close to a dryer?
You know there is a window to the parallel Universe in them.

That's why you can put two pairs of socks in one; and later, only take out two socks---
    but they don't match.

Go through all your die boxes. It may have been living in sin with another caliber for all these years! I hope there weren’t three dies in that box, that would be disgusting!!!

Check the Fridge? well before you buy another I was at an auction awhile back and bought some RCBS 30-06 dies and when I got home there were 3 seating dies and no sizing dies. They had to have been swapped around when I looked at them before sale it only had the sizing die and seating die? So if you want the one the aliens put in just PM your address and I send it home.

What other set could you have paired that seating die with for installing bullets with one and crimping with the other, in a 3-die set? It would have to be close to 30 caliper? 308? 30-30? 300 Win Mag?

Celebrating today I found it in the .45 acp box. I guess I did not look closely enough. A little bit of grime and surface rust cleaning and I am good to go. Now to get a good recipe and to the range.
