WTB New old stock Springfield 1903A3 4 groove barrel

I would like to buy a new old stock Springfield 1903A3 4 groove barrel. The barrel on my 1943 1903A3 us getting long in the tooth and want a replacement barrel. Preferably a Remington as that is what's on my Springfield. Thanks,Frank

Two groove 03A3 barrels show up on the CMP Forum regularly, four groove very seldom. Might want to post in the WTB sections there.

If you dont have any luck on a 4groove , I have a 2groove . Unscrewed from rifle but appears unfired .

Really hoping for a NOS A3 barrel. Even though it's sporterized and drilled and tapped for a receiver sight I put a lot of time and effort into getting her where she is today. Bought it as one of bubba's prime efforts for about $89.00 way back when. Found a NOS barrel at a local gun show. Used a beaver machine brand of pipe threading machine with a big oilite bushing around the barrel to prevent the chuck jaws from marring the barrel. Then fine files to take out the machining marks, sanding with progressively finer grits then polishing the whole shooting match. Kinda sentimental about it as the smith at one time did work for Griffen & Howe in NYC when I lived there. Thanks again for your offer and suggestions. Frank
