    Wheel weight report

I finished smelting by latest haul yesterday. Gross weight on the 5 gallon bucket was 148lbs, net after sorting was 108lbs, and final smelted weight was ~80lbs. I got 74lbs worth of ingots and left ~6lbs in the pot.

That's close to what I have got, about half.

This is the first time I have kept track of the weight. I didn’t realize how much weight you lost when you remove the clips.

Your lead to non lead yield seems to be holding up pretty well. The loss to clips is a little more than I have gotten when I bothered to keep up with it. I've had weights that went from extremely clean to extremely dirty. The last couple of buckets that I got had about a cup of oil poured over them! Go figure!

Went on a little gathering run yesterday, picked up 2 1/2 5 gallon buckets, the first bucket had a few steel but not bad, the second one was a lot better but the 1/2 bucket I got from the first shop was primo, lots of 2,3, and several handfuls of 4 oz weights, plus one big honkin’ 8 oz truck weight!!
Best I’ve seen in a while. I never weighed anything but the end results so I don’t know any ratios. Plus a bunch of Zn weights. Was a good day for collecting weights!!
I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!

Impressive ratios. Nowhere near that good around here.
