    Handi racker

I have a green handi racker to give away to the right person.
The add said it fit a compact pistol but didnt fit mine. so had to order the yellow one and it works.

This needs to go to someone who cant rack the slide.

will be choosing who gets it by your responce.

answer on the forum for all to see not just a pm

If it fits a 1911 - My 85 year old Dad could use it.
Either way, I will look into getting him one or 3d printing one out for him.

We teach a lot of ladies to shoot. My wife & I have been doing the NRA Women On Target program almost since it started. Over the years,, we've tried to get a lot of things to show the ladies the various things they can do to be able to shoot. Most of the ladies who take our clinics,, have issues racking the slides on semi-auto's. I was preaching decades ago about ways to carry & methods for the ladies to be included in our beloved sport. The Handi-Racker,, I saw it a few years ago at SHOT. I was intrigued,, and discussed the idea of a donation of one to use as a Demo item as an option for the ladies. They turned me down.
So,, if I were to get one,, it would be used to teach ladies AND anyone else who may have an issue racking the slide on a handgun. I think we should all be able to overcome any difficulties and have as many options as possible. (You should see my wife when she starts showing all the different methods of CCW in a class of only ladies. She pulls guns from various parts of her body & the ladies ALL start laughing & chuckling. I'm the only male person in the room.)
And as a side note,,, we teach these clinics as volunteers,, and only charge enough to cover expenses.
For $25,, they get a 1 day introductory clinic. About 2 hours of classroom time,, covering a LOT of stuff,, followed by (provided) lunch,, followed by range time, with individual instruction,, shooting .22's, 38's, & 9mm's. We provide the guns, ammo, targets, instruction etc. The money goes to cover lunch, some ammo, targets, handout materials, etc.

So,, if you were to donate the Handi-Racker to us,, it will get a lot of use as another tool to help teach ladies & others to shoot!

I have a friend that lost an arm in a logging accident years ago and he showed me how to use the rear sight, ejection port on a belt and even the plunger tube on a hard surface to accomplish the same thing.

Very nice gesture on your part.

Wife could use this with her LC9s. She has a neurological disease that really saps her strength.

After 30+ years in LE, working HVAC, and building my own house on the side to supplement income my hands have devolved enough arthritis to make my 1911 painful to the point of failure to rack. Luckily I can still shoot it just fine. Not so much with my revolvers, battering on the thumb joint adds up very quickly.
Thank you for offering this to us, wash your hands often and stay safe.
