    Some people might be less abusive than myself, but I would not put shot in any cardboard container. That sounds like a recipe for a mess for myself.

    I’ve gotten older wads from folks before they’ve had sitting around usually where UV light can mess with them . And 95% of them I can still use with a little extra help when seating them in the hull . But the UV light is the main reason I leave them in the cardboard case boxes .

    I generally used up shot so fast that I leave it in the tube on the press when loading trap loads. For hunting loads, I keep shot in the original bags. Wads in the original bags as well.
