    Gunshow this weekend

    Three days to our Gunshow.
There was worry about the city closing it because of corona.
But so far nothing, and it seems to late for them to do anything.
    Almost ready.
Finishing up looking for stuff to sell.
    Made target frames to sell.
Some redneck Christmas lights, and soda bottle launchers.
Four Styer Mannlicher rifles that I hope to sell for a friend.
    Some old air rifles.
    Reloading tools and new/used shells.
Hope I don't find anything I just gotta have.
Hope corona doesn't keep people from coming.

Good luck... our city cancelled everything with more than 2500 people and we don’t have a case in town yet.

Large gun show on the 21st and 22nd in Southern Cal. Being 77 with a some what compromised immune system I am not sure if I should go . Need 4 current and one obsolete dies. Current dies and shell holders I can buy any place. Obsolete di (303 Savage) I can go past RCBS on my way to Portland and probably get a set. This may be the most expensive di that I have ever bought. probably better to spend money that I can afford than get really sick. If I get coronavirus at the gun show I won't be able to see my daughter -in-law who is due to deliver my grand daughter near the end of May or the first of June. Even worse I won't show signs until I get to Portland and cause my daughter-in-law to get sick and causes problems with her or the baby. Dieing in mid April is not an option I want to entertain either Probably will miss the Costa Mesa gun show..

They still allow Gunshows in kakafonia?????
Last time I went to kakafonia was for the last Great Western Gunshow in pamona.
    Now that was a Gunshow.
12 of us in the group.
    Rented two vans.
Stayed for six days in the hotel.
Ate at a nice restaurant every night.
Spent money at different stores around the area.
And the people around there were so grateful to have us.
I was so looking forward to going back the next year,
    kakafonia banned Gunshows there.
No reason to ever go back.

Willamette Valley Arms Collectors gun show in Eugene, OR, 3/21 & 22, canceled. Today our esteemed governor canceled all public gatherings over 250. Our club is going to take a big hit.

Saturday is the Wells, MN show. It's a small town sorta off the beaten path and draws a large crowed and good vendors. They have a vendor waiting list. I plan on making it. COVID-19 is still an annoyance inn this area, not yet a threat.

We hardly have shows around here in NY now. Nys has banned any gatherings of 500 people or more. Interesting enough the skyscrapers the ny city it’s home more than 500 people. I guess they should banned there city.

Enjoy the snow. Wish I had one to attend around me.

Local gun show scheduled for the 13th, 14th, and 15th this weekend. I do not expect it to be canceled, but if it is, I'll just pay a visit to my local FFL, and get what he WAS going to bring to the show for me.

I was hoping to meet the gunsmith there who is drilling and tapping for a scope mount that I need to pick up. He usually has a table at that show. Thing is it may be that dear wife being concerned about my health may make that trip a problem. Not sure I have any good counter arguments for not wanting me to die the way I do for when she worries about how much I might spend.
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.

Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

I spent all morning choosing about 25 guns to take to tomorrows show, got them priced and into cases then loaded in the truck. Started the hour long drive, and thought I had better call, and sure enough they cancelled. Oh well, maybe Biden will get elected and they will be worth more next year.

Just about every weekend this time of the year there is a or several gunshow shows with in a hours drive for me.
Boy things have been changing quickly in the past 3 days. All schools in OH are now closed for the next 2 weeks, local schools around me have been closed the past 2 days. The gun show I was planning on going to in Ann Arbor, MI is cancelled and now I think I'm better staying home for a bit and see what happens.
