Berry 158 gr round nose load data

I’m having a hard time finding load data for this bullet.I know people had said to use a similar bullet and use that but I have three reloading books and don’t have a 158 gr or close to that in the round nose profile.I have emailed berrys with no response.Any help would be appreciated, this is a plated bullet.I diddnt specify that. Thanks

Most all your questions are answered here:

Xtreme Bullets also has a similar statement

Though I have not loaded that specific bullet so far, by following the standard rules of starting low and working up I had no trouble. I assume this is for a .38?

I am actually loading for a 357 rifle which limits me even more than a standard 357 revolver load.I also don’t know if I should use a magnum primer?

Depends on the powder, some require them and others such as 2400 do not.

So long as you load to SAMMI spec you should be in the ballpark. Then load up some dummies and see how they cycle in the action.

Learned that lesson the hard way
