Hello everyone:
My name is James Sparhawk. I am a paraplegic, but still very able to cast, shoot, hunt, and fish. I didn't let my disability prohibit me from enjoying all my hobbies, I just adapted or evolved. Thankfully, I have plenty of upper body strength which allows me to adapt and learn how to do things differently.
I bought a manual wheelchair with mountain bike tires that I uses everyday. Initially, I used an old riding lawnmower to hunt on. I was very successful by getting into the woods way early than before, spraying myself and all over the motor and other parts of the mower. I killed two nice bucks that year, 5 days apart, in the same spot off my lawnmower that I heavily camouflaged with paint and netting. Last year I broke bad and bought me a new small ATV. Last year I only killed one large doe, but this past season, I was able to kill three large does and a 7 point buck. I strictly hunt with muzzle loaders, but have nothing against modern guns.
I have recently got into casting and love it. I joined this group to learn as much as I can and want to thank everyone in advance.
