    I've only seen a ventilated rib on one gold cup. It might have been the first pistol I ever bought. Anyways, it was a competition gun used for shooting pins, or along those lines. That particular gun, I should have kept, it was like I couldn't miss. But ribs on gold cups? I've never seen another.

    My original series 70 has a slightly raised solid rib but no vented rib slide.
