Sounds good...we use jalapeno pepper jelly mixed with cream cheese then serve with crackers as well. We serve it at the holidays.

    are your jalapenos candied whole?

Great appetizer! Butter cracker like a Ritz, spread with cream cheese, red pepper jelly, topped with candied jalepeno.

That's pretty funny. I like them a lot also, but they're not my absolute favorite veggie, close though.

Going to have to try it. As it is, we grow lots of them. I usually make jalapeno relish with them. Jalapenos, salt, garlic, lime juice or vinegar, blended to a course puree. I put it on everything. Jalapeno Mac and cheese was a great discovery! You do have to sort the red and green ones or else it comes out a really ugly green color.

We make and use jelly more as a meat sauce than anything else. Great on pork, venison or fowl.

If you have a favorite recipe for Sweet Pickles , the regular kind using sliced cucumbers ...
substitute sliced Jalapeno's for the sliced cucumbers ... Or use 1/2 and 1/2 sliced cucumbers and sliced Jalapeno's .
You can cheat , buy a big jar of sliced dill pickles , drain the dill pickle juice , measure and mix with an equal amount of white sugar in a pan and heat until the sugar melts and you have a sweet syrup, add a little more sugar if the syrup isn't thick enough. You want a good heavy syrup .
Place the cucumber pickles and sliced jalapeno's in two jars and fill the jars with sliced Jalapeno's .
Fill the jars with hot sweet syrup and seal . A few cloves of peeled garlic in the jars is good !
After a couple weeks .... eat em !

Mix Jalapeno Pepper Jelly with your favorite BBQ Sauce and use it next time your grilling...great on pork and chicken.

Discovered Pineapple Pepper Jelly is also very good , if anyone wants the recipe I can post it .
