Silicone baking sheets -Why O why did I wait so long

PC works great for 44/45 cal boolits because they stand up easily. When you start getting down to smaller diameter and longer, it gets to be a challenge to keep them standing up. My silicone pad needs to be perfectly flat to PC 6.5 mm and as I said earlier in this thread, my silicone pad hasn’t stayed perfectly flat. I have tried silicone ice cube trays and hot plate mats. No joy. However, the silicone pads I have work great for my .45/70 boolits. For the 6.5mm I’ve chosen to tumble lube in Lee Alox. Just easier for me.

If the spots/powder build up on the silicon mats are a problem, then why don't you just clean them. It only take a couple of minutes. I guess I should make a post?

Actually, it's very easy. I PC spray other things like tools, projects, etc. as well as some bullets in a self built ventilated cabinet, so i have overspray that I sweep up and save. When I have a mat that starts to have a lot of build up I spray the mat with very light coat of powder, cook it then peel the thin sheet off, leaving a pristine mat. You could dust the mat a brush or fine hole shaker, etc. Here is a mat half done to show the result.

Interesting. I don't have a sprayer, just a shake and bake guy. I tried it sprinkling by hand, but it doesn't work so well. I might try no stick foil.
