Their website isn’t clear, and I’m apparently kinda slow. Do you run the brass through a first pass to sort into 3 categories (ie .40, .38 special and .357mag are one category)and then install the correct category tray and run that category brass through a second time and it sorts into caliber? How well does it handle .38 super?
You first use the standard tray, that sorts it into 3 buckets. Those buckets of brass correspond with the remaining 3 trays. These tray then sort the similar caliber within that tray size. I can run a full 5 gallon bucket of brass in 20 min or so. You hardly ever use the 45 tray unless you have some 44mag or 50ae mixed in. The 38super will be in the 38 special. Let me know if you have any other questions. The only better system on sorting brass is a Roll Sorter and they are thousands of dollars to build or buy.Originally Posted by JimB..
