WTB 100 or so .358 boolits with hp with wide meplat

WTB some .358 swchp or fp with wide meplat. Cast a little soft to be used with loads around 1000-1100 fps. Hopefully some expansion. Only looking for about 100 more or less. Thanks

No nothing really in particular. Just cast a little soft and wide flat nose or wide hp. Thanks

Not sure this fits what your looking for but I have MPs 358-429 (original incorrect version as well as the fixed version with all pin options, look it up in closed buys or on his site) that I could probably cast some up for you but can’t say for sure when cause work is kinda hectic.

If no one else reaches out and this will work let me know and I’ll see what I can do to get those for you.

Will the .358429 work ok in .38 brass? I will be shooting in a .357 Mag. but won't to use mostly .38 brass. Thanks

Take a look at GT Bullets!

They offer what you want. Plus I like that they offer AS CAST. So I can powder coat and size to my needs.

The 358429 HP is a great one!! Before I had one I shot more than a few of these GT 165 & 180 HP. They expand perfectly to 1200fps.

357 is just a longer casing 38 SPL and bullets are generally interchangeable depending on powder selection. In particular this is a design done by Elmer Keith the originator of the 44 and 357 magnum calibers (at least I seem to recall reading that somewhere).

Personally I have loaded these over bullseye in 38s very successfully. Here is the dimensional drawing.

Here is 357 mag load data for this design:

Planning some casting this afternoon so I’ll drop some of these and you are still looking PM me if interested.

I have 112 of the 158 grain Lee SWC HP boolits you might like. I cast these a few years ago and they have been just gathering dust, They are already sized, lubed and have the gas checks on them. They were cast from straight wheelweights if I remember right, nothing added to make them harder. If you're interested in them, send me a message.
    Thanks ....

I have had some fun with that 358 125 RNFP lee boolit. I have run then through my 995 Carbine without any issues with feeding and they hit the target if I send them the right way. I believe they are supersonic with my load and I think they have plenty of smack when they hit.
