I am having thoughts of bringing home a 7x64mm Brennete home , but I am able to find R-P loaded ammo, but wondering about brass, short of buying loaded ammo is there a un complicated way to form this brass from some thing else that it easy available?

Unless your goal is to make it yourself try Graf 's, they list it from Hornady, Norma, Lapua, adn PPU.
Last Fall I acquired a genuine Wilhelm Brenneke, Berlin, 98 Mauser in 7 X 64 Brenneke. Having a surfeit of '06 brass, I made mine from it simply by running it through a 7 X 64 Brenneke sizing die. I didn't have to turn the necks. RCBS has a great 7mm cast bullet and from my mold it goes 177 grs. with Lyman #2. I think it's listed to go 168 grs.
As an aside, I am currently working with a recently acquired Vierordt double rifle in 8 X 65R Brenneke. Brenneke was contemporary with Charles Newton. Had Brenneke and Newton had the powders to work with that Roy Weatherby did, there would have been no Weatherby.
Speer says to use 280 Remington data for the 7 X 64 and the 7 X 65R. While not interchangeable they are nearly identical and most European handloaders use 280 Rem. data. With the cast bullet I started at 25 grs. of Reloder 7 with an open cell foam filler. I have not pursued any other loads as that one has been excellent. The cartridge pre-dates the 280 Rem. by 38 years.
Good cartridge and I would recommend it if you have an interest in immediately post WWI German cartridges or to have something out of the ordinary. For convenience, if one is looking for 280 Rem. performance.....he would do just as well with the 280....but what fun is that?

270/280 just gets a little taper adjustment in the die and a tiny shoulder change upon firing .
