It's why I asked. You just can't be sure of directions from somebody who's upside down all the time
Actually, I start with the cavity furthest away and push away, filling far to near. I also tend to push the mold while it's level until the (continuous) stream hits the next sprue opening, and then I lift up. I'm thinking that, this way, I can get the stream to hit both the cavity edge and then the center, and also get the stream to puddle over the just filled cavity without spilling into the next until I'm ready to lower the mold back to level and shift it to the next cavity (I'm not nearly as dexterous as Ausglock - too bad the vid isn't available to showcase his technique -smooth as butter).
