I finally hit 30 posts, and I have some brass to sell, but I don't see the option to create a thread. Does that have to be manually enabled by a moderator?

I finally hit 30 posts, and I have some brass to sell, but I don't see the option to create a thread. Does that have to be manually enabled by a moderator?
Don’t know about the moderator, but go to silver “forum” button on left side of page, scroll down to swapping and selling (or whatever forum the new thread is for), and then look for “+post new thread” on left of page just below the yellow header. I had trouble too, but when I followed these steps it showed up.
Just knowing enough to do it, is not enough to do it right! -Taz
