    Model 10 No Dash Stocks

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. I am wondering what would be the value of a set of stocks for a S&W Model 10 No dash in like new condition? Thanks.

Pics would help, square butt?, round butt?

Plainclothes stocks with rounded bottom, or uniform holster stocks with flat bottom?

Raised uncheckered diamond around grip screw escutcheons or machine checkered right up to bushing?

Walnut or other wood? Varnished or oiled?

    I might be interested.

Common modern service Magna stocks like these in VG+ used go for about $35 on GunBroker.

The early 1960s raised diamond style go higher, as do the "coke bottle" target grips.

Is there a number penciled in on the inside of the right side panel? You are sure they are from a model # gun and not a pre model # gun? All this can be a factor in pricing. It's been a couple years since I paid 35$ delivered for a set that I put on a pristine late "S" serial number M&P post war. 1947/48 shipped 5", 38 "pre 10".

I would say in $50 neighborhood. Nice K Magnas can be had for $25 up. They are probably the most common of all S&W grips. Thousands of S&W K frames were used by law enforcement and most had Magna grips.

Post-WW2 but pre-1957 raised diamond stocks typically go for $75-$100 depending on condition.

Nice minimally worn, undamaged pre-WW2 ones with good finish VERY much more.

These are raised diamond with a number stamped inside the right stock. I know they are from a Model 10 with no dash and they are a square butt. I'll get some pictures up soon.

Do you have the gun that they came on originally?

If you know the present owner, they would probably love to have the original stocks that are numbered to the gun. A lot of S&W addicts (me) really prize these that are numbered correctly.
