Want to buy, a set of handles that will work on RCBS 2 cavity mold.

Bought my first set of RCBS molds, and need a set of handles to use with them, for a double cavity mold. I have been casting for 30+year, always used Lyman or lee up until now. Or does anyone know of any others that will work. All replies appreciated.

Never tried it with Lee's, but I've swapped Lyman & RCBS molds and handles back & forth.
One company's molds with the other's handles.

On one or the other of them I had to drill a couple extra holes in the handles
a little farther forward or back from the originals for the other brand of mold to fit.

Put your new mold on your Lyman handles-- they'll tell you what ya need to do.

I might have an extra set of RCBS handles. I will look.

No extra RCBS handles, but I have a set of Lyman handles that I converted to fit RCBS moulds.

    PM sent.

I have a set rcbs handles that we’re giving me a lot of grief. The center pivot not constantly loosened up they didn’t close properly just a horror story in general to use. Anyway long story short just for Hahaas I had a brand new set of the handles and I figured I’d try them well they fit perfectly clothes perfectly no problems with anything so if you’ve got to settle Lee handles you might want to check and see if they fit your mold.

If you have a small belt grinder . The lee handles work just fine, when fitted to the mold. unclemikeinct

I got in an Accurate 3 cavity mold. I broke down and ordered a set of Lee commercial handles. Fits perfectly - seems like they were @ $19.

I've fit a few Lyman DC handles to RCBS. Very easy to do.

I agree with unclemikeinct. The Lee handles work fine but you need to be sure and get the ones for 6 cavity lee molds. The last ones I bought needed about .010" sanded off the thickness.

I use Lyman handles for my RCBS molds. I had to file down the thickness slightly-- but they then work fine for both Lyman and RCBS.
