    browning lever action

    local GS has a browing lever action, looks nice(I know looks don't mean much) looks new. shot me a price of $550, is that in the ball park?

    BL22's are nice little rifles. im not up on prices for them, but that seems high to me.

    They made them in 17 Mach II and 22LR and at least three grades. If it looks new compare it to new price for the same item.

    I think that is high if it is a grade one. It is still a little high for a grade two.
    My comfort zone is around 400 for grade 1 and 500 for a grade 2.

    And make darn sure the ejector spring is still in it! You wouldn't believe how many I've seen that's been taken apart and the ejector spring lost because it's a PITA to assemble if you don't know how.

    All these answers and no one has a clue if it's a rimfire or centerfire or what model ???? Browning makes a lot of lever actions.

    Any where from $550 to $650 seems to be the average on GunBroker. They have 137 of them listed right now.
