    Old Style Ransom Rest

I have a ransom rest that i bought many years ago and never used. I decided to try out some 45acp loads with it and ran into a problem. I snugged up the screw on the wedge to hold the pistol tight and about not got it to come back off. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I couldn,t find anything on it, so i called the company. I talked to the owner of the business. He said he wanted it because he didn,t have that model. He is sending me a new one to trade! Best day i have had in a while!I am in the house recovering from having a cancer removed from my ear and this cheered me up! nccrossbow

A friend of mine in California bought one many years ago. It had a hole in the windage base with stripped threads. My friend called the company in Arizona (IIRC), and the owner drove to my friends house, gave him a new one, and refused to take the other one back. My friend later gave it to me. I drilled out the hole and tapped it for a larger screw, and have been using it ever since.

Later, I was having trouble with inserts. I ordered a grip insert that worked with one model of gun, but not another. I called the company to ask about it, and they offered to exchange the insert for another that would work with both models. I didn't do it, but only because I had just bought the insert and the seller exchanged it

They are great people to do business with.
