Stock for LCS Smith 20ga double barrel

I posted in SnS looking for a stock for a LC Smith 20ga double barrel. Does anyone have any information on where I could get one, or how to make one? I’m not a woodworker or artist. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

All I can tell you is what my mentor told me about 50 years ago..."Take this here chunk of walnut and cut away everything that doesn't look like a gun stock".

You will probably have to have somebody make one from a rough blank. Un inlet blanks were available from Boyds and would need to be inlet for the action and finished down. he next best bet is to keep trying E Bay and posting until you find one, a 20 will be tougher than a 12 or a 16.

    Here ya go: https://shop.macongunstocks.com/LC-S...Stocks_c55.htm

You can also simply google "L.C. Smith gunstock for sale" - which might give you a choice of used/take-off stocks.

You're going to have to first determine the frame size of your gun (there were a few different sizes) to obtain the correct stock.

You might want to consider that since each gun was specially fitted to it's wood at the factory, most other stocks are not easily interchangeable, ergo requiring some fitting.
