Mauser 98 parts :wtb

Evening: I found a Brazilian 98 that's in need of a stock and side bolt release mechanism.....any ideas on where to look? Honestly looking for a beat up old wooden military stock...this is a utility rifle not a safe queen ....even in 30\06

I’m pretty sure I have a rough one in the barn. It’s uncut but NRA Barn condition. I’ve got the bug so I’m not going out there tonight. I’ll get some pics to you tomorrow.

Those parts are relatively easy to find at swap meets, unless you are looking for a really nice stock. I even have an old mil stock that has been sportered, but is in kind of rough shape. I don't even know which model this one's from. If you were close, I'd give it to you. I didn't see where you were.

Here it is. 98Mauser of some kind. Sling loop and buttplate are rusty. Bayonet lug is present. I'll give it to you if you pay shipping. Probably better to find one closer, though.
