    I couldn't find this posted on here so sorry if you have seen this already. It's kinda interesting. I love these old Government movies.

    I have also posted this on this site a year or to ago. I also find it very interesting to watch.all the work to take lead ore out of the ground and make it to lead

    Regardless, it's informative, so thanks for reposting.

    I think that narrator did ALL the gov'mint films back then, just like it seems Mike Rowe does all the documentaries nowadays.

    Thanks for posting this. It is very informative. If you can’t figure out the voice it’s a young paul Harvey. The reason I really liked this video is because the lead mines are about 60 miles north of me. Thanks for reposting this. It’s been a long while since I posted this and I still rewatched the video.

    If you hadn’t posted it again I wouldn’t have seen it so thank you! Noteworthy was that the pigs were cooled by spraying them with water from below (mold bottoms) and above, directly onto the molten lead. Many here would have newcomers believe that a drop of sweat falling onto molten lead would result in a tinsel fairy visit.
